Yukata

Yukata is one of Japanese clothes.
Recently, Japanese wear it at festival in summer.
Some people wear it as nightclothes at Japanese-style hotel.
It is comfortable to wear.
We wear it with Japanese wooden clogs.
I think when I wearing it, it is hard to move for me but I like wear them because they make me happy and excited.

Book Review 1-7

BABE-PIG IN THE CITY-

I like Babe of movie so I would read this book.

Babe is a sheep-pig and very clever. Babe lived in Hoggett's farm but Mr.Hoggett needed money for paying the bank and he and his wife decided to take Babe in place of money. Babe and Mrs Hoggett went to the city and Babe strayed from her. Babe met many people and animals and experienced various things and Mrs. Hoggett had many experiences and noticed to how important Babe was for them. Last, she could get a lot of money and pay the bank so Babe could return to Hoggett's farm. They felt very happy.

I thought Babe and other animals were very cute. This story made me happy and warm.

Kumamoto

I think Basashi, Karashi Renkon, and Ikinari Dango are famous foods in Kumamoto.
Basashi is raw horsemeat. Japanese eat it with soy sauce and ginger. It is very delicious. I think it is better you eat it with beer.
Karashi Renkon is that mustard mixed into soybean paste is crammed into holes of lotus root and it is fried. Its taste is fiery. I'm poor fiery foods so I remove a little mustard mixed into soybean when I eat it.
Ikinari Dango is made from sweet potato and bean jam. I think people who like sweet potato like it. I like it very much. It's very delicious and sweet.

My Favorite Animals

I like most of animals but especially, I like dogs and dolphins.

Dogs are very cute and friendly. Their figure makes me relaxed and happy. They can’t speak our words but I think they can understand our words. I often speak to them and they respond to me. For example, when I take my dog for a walk, I often say that I want him to walk more slowly and he watch me and start to walk more slowly. Also, I often say “come on” and he comes to me. He can understand my words. I think humans can communicate with dogs and humans and dogs can become best friends because of their understanding humans’ words. The relationship between dogs and I is like friends so dogs are important for me and I like them very much.

Dolphins are attractive to me. I have seen directly them only a few times but I have seen them on pictures and TV many times. They on pictures and TV are very cute and friendly. I like their smile and it cheer me. They have many skills that I don’t have. For example, they can swim fast and go wherever they like in the sea. It is attractive to me. If I were a dolphin, I would go to many places which I like and feel refreshing. I want to swim with dolphins someday.

Both dogs and dolphins are very cute and they have lovable face so I like seeing them and can become relaxed.

Ouch!!

I had a part-time job last Staurday and after it I talked with members of this job. We got at a dog, which has lived in the house next to my boss's house. I like dogs so I would stroke him and approximated my hand to him, but he was surprised and bit my finger!! Blood streamed from the wound. This wound was ache but not terrible, so I thought it was OK, however, after a few hours, I had pimples on my face and they increased. I worried about it and went to the hospital. The doctor said it was allergy. I'll be careful not to be bit by dogs again or react badly with allergy. It is shock for me because I like dogs very much.

Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Kathleen van Heemstra Hepburn-Ruston was born in Brussels on May 4, 1929. When she was a child, she wanted to be a world-famous ballet dancer, but she was talked "You'll never be a famous dancer because you are too tall" in the most important ballet school. She was very sad, but it changed her life. She became a actress. She appeared at many movies such as Roman Holiday, Sabrina, Breakfast at Tiffany's, My Fair Lady and she became a famous actress.

In her private life, she married Mel Ferrer in Switzweland on September 25, 1954 and had a baby boy, Sean, in January 1960 but they divorced. She married an Italian doctor, Andrea Dotti in 1969 and had a baby boy, Luca, in 1970 but Dotti made new girlfriend so she was very angry and left Dotti in 1979.

When she became older, she wanted to do something more important with her life. She wanted to help poor and hungry children. She started to work for the United Nations. She stayed in small towns with no water and visited sick children in dirty old hospitals.

In 1992 she traveled to Africa for the last time. When she came back, she was very sick. On January 20, 1993, she died. She was sixty-four.

I think she is very beautiful and a hard worker. I've known her at Roman Holiday but I could know more about her from this book. I respect her action to poor and hungry children.

PIRATES of the CARIBBEAN

I went to watch PIRATES of the CARIBBEAN -world end- at the theater with Haruka.

I had watched PIRATES of the CARIBBEAN -the curse of the black pearl- and -dead mans chest-, so I had been looking forward to watching this movie.

There were three main characters. They were Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Keira Knightley. All main characters were individual so I could enjoy watching it. I thought ending of this story was sad but story was powerfull and magnificent scale.

Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom were very cool and handsome.
